9 september I could be judge with aquarium society Aqua Fauna in Weert. The club of the legendary "Mr. Everaerts", like I got aquinted with 30 jears back. A superaquarist, a jack-of-all-trades. Who also stood at the craddle of maney society of aquarists in Northern -Limburg and Brabant south-east. For the first time after years a association judge again.
Ther are 6 participants:
Takashi Amano in Weert.
The first one is Mr. J.van Mier, Fred. Hendrikstraat 47 Weert. He is the owner of a very charming aquarium with the measurements 80 X 45 X 40 cm.

Placed behind a opening in the wall between kitchen and living, it suggests the famous living painting. Moreover .... Who does n't care of the pence...
Mr. Van Mier searches his inspiration in the "natural aquaria" of the Japanese Takashi Amano. Ihave my own thoughts with the liokenesses of this designer of aquariums. The animals must feel considerably unhappy in these aquarium, wich have nowhere an optical closing. In this aquarium at least there are
walls at three sides. That makes the aquarium closed and cosey. On a certain pile of lava rock Java moss (Vesicularia dubyana) is growing. On the right a group of Crypocoryne balancea is the closing whereas on the left up in the corner Anubias lanceolata fa. nana fulfils that role. The population consists of a group of rummy nose tera's (Hemeigrammus bleheri)and a number of Attyopsis moluccensis that have to clean the plain of moss.
Me on my part, I made him the suggestion,
the Cherry barb (Barbus titteya) perhaps would be a more colorful little fish in this a little shady aquarium with a distinctive character. And moreover of undeniable Aziatic origine. Java ferns (Microsorium pteropis) in stead of Dwarf Anubias (Anubias nana) would complete the atmosfere of nature in this specialaquarium Azië.
