The
layout of a tank like that has to beam out rest. That is to achieve by limiting
the number of plants species. Experience for years and years within our league
have proved that ca one species of plant a one dm length of the frontpane generally
is effective. As colorful and with marked here one used Amannia gracilis
on the left and Alternathera reineckii cardinalis on the right. Diagonal
lines going out from the middle to the corners in top strengthen the effect of
depth. The walls are grown over with Anubias nana on the left and Javamoss
(Vesicularia dubyana) on the right. Putting in some so called straatjes
( groups of plants that are wide in the front and become more narrow little by
little and end in a point) bring more depth effect.
